Bidspirit auction | An assortment of decorative objects

An assortment of decorative objects featuring Egyptian revival and ethnographic themes. The collection includes a hand-carved wooden mask in the West African Baule style, featuring an elongated face and four white diamond-shaped inlays on the forehead. Also present is a black Tiki figurine, likely cast from resin or composite material, showcasing traditional Polynesian stylisation with a tiered headdress. The Egyptian-themed items comprise a matte black bust of King Tutankhamun in the style of basalt, a smaller cast metal pharaoh bust mounted on a rectangular banded onyx plinth, a polished banded onyx or calcite pyramid, and a recumbent sphinx figurine in cast metal with polychrome enamel accents on the nemes and chest. These items are characteristic of mid-to-late 20th-century travel souvenirs.
