An oil on canvas painting by Alfredo Gisbert (Spanish, 20th Century) depicting a Mediterranean coastal village. The work is executed with heavy impasto and palette knife techniques, providing significant texture to the architecture and rocky terrain, while the water and sky are rendered with more blended, horizontal strokes. The painting is signed Gisbert in black in the lower-left corner. It is presented in a modern gilt-finished moulded frame with a beaded inner border.
