This lot comprises two pieces of mid-20th-century English decorative earthenware pottery manufactured in Staffordshire. The first item is a shallow circular dish by Crown Devon (S. Fielding and Co. Ltd), featuring a scalloped rim and a pedestal foot. The second item is a pitcher by H. J. Wood Ltd in the Jacobean pattern. The exterior body has a relief-moulded lattice texture and is hand-painted with yellow flowers and green and dark brown foliage. The base bears a hand-painted black script mark including the letter K above Jacobean Handpainted H. J. Wood Staffordshire England.
