This lot comprises two pieces of glazed earthenware. The first is a Hornsea Pottery jug from the Fauna range, featuring a naturalistic tree trunk form with a branch-shaped handle, relief-moulded green leaves, and a rabbit figure positioned in a hollow at the base. The underside is stamped HORNSEA ENGLAND and incised with the number 95. The second item is a biscuit barrel from the Ye Olde Cottage series, modelled as a traditional thatched cottage with a removable lid and a woven wicker swing handle. The base is incised YE OLDE COTTAGE and MADE IN ENGLAND, with a faint incised number 34 and an indistinct blue oval factory stamp.
