An earthenware vase produced by Shaw and Copestake under the SylvaC brand name. The vessel features a sculptural, organic form characterised by a flared, irregular rim and a spreading base. The exterior surface is heavily decorated in high relief with a series of horizontal ridges and textured bands. The underside of the base bears the impressed marks SYLVAC and ENGLAND, alongside the model number 3523. Height: 20.5 cm.
