An earthenware vase produced by Hebridean Pottery on the Isle of Lewis. The vessel is of a tapered cylindrical form terminating in a slightly flared rim. The underside of the base is marked with a circular black stamp containing the words hebridean pottery and isle of lewis around the perimeter, with the Gaelic phrase Fear an eich (The Horseman) positioned horizontally in the centre.
