A small decorative wooden tabletop chest featuring a traditional camel-top or domed lid. The exterior is finished with a dark ebonised ground and decorated with hand-painted floral motifs including yellow, cream, and orange blossoms with green foliage. The chest is fitted with ornate cast metal hardware, including a decorative swing handle on the lid, a matching shaped hasp and staple latch on the front, and two butterfly-style hinges on the reverse.
