Bidspirit auction | A pair of Chinese decorative

A pair of Chinese decorative bonsai tree sculptures, fashioned from hardstone and various semi-precious gemstones. The blossoms and foliage are hand-carved from stones including amethyst, rose quartz, carnelian, and celadon-coloured hardstone, likely bowenite or soapstone. The flowers are accented with small red and yellow bead stamens. The branches are constructed from wire wrapped in dark silk or thread to simulate bark. Each tree is fixed into a rectangular carved hardstone pot of a pale celadon hue.
