This fifteen-piece porcelain beverage service was produced by Meikei China in Japan during the mid-20th century. The set is decorated in the traditional dragonware style using the moriage technique, featuring hand-applied raised enamel. The rims, handles, and finials are finished with gilding over a reddish-brown slip. Each piece bears a red printed backstamp on the base featuring an ornate scrollwork cartouche with the text MEIKEI over CHINA and JAPAN below.
