A three-tiered oak magazine rack or Canterbury, designed in the Jacobean revival style, characteristic of manufacturers such as Wood Bros (Old Charm). The front panel features a carved scrollwork motif with a central pendant drop, set within a recessed border with punch-work decoration. The solid end panels terminate in shaped, decoratively cut-out feet, while the top rails of the dividers and sides are shaped and scalloped. The rack is finished in a dark stain. No maker's marks or labels are present. Height: 58 cm.
