A fire screen which features a central machine-woven jacquard tapestry panel in the French Aubusson style, depicting a traditional 18th-century hunting scene. The tapestry is housed within a dark-stained wooden frame featuring a carved foliate outer border and an inner gilded slip, all protected behind a glass panel. The screen is designed for portability, fitted with a decorative cast brass carrying handle at the top and supported by four out-swept cast metal feet with a brass finish.
