The scene depicts a poignant historical interior featuring Princess Elizabeth and Prince Henry. It is signed and dated in the lower left corner T. Hibberd 1907. The painting is housed in a substantial dark-stained wooden frame featuring a deep foliate carved outer moulding and a gilded inner slip.
