A set of five glazed earthenware wall tiles produced by SOMAG (Sachsische Ofen- und Wandplatten-Werke AG) in Meissen, Germany. The tiles are decorated with blue transfer-printed scenes in the traditional Delft style, featuring children in Dutch folk costume set against landscapes with windmills and sailing boats. The reverse of each tile bears impressed manufacturer marks in horizontal ovals for SOMAG and Meissen.
