A vintage Dinky Toys model 101 Thunderbird 2 vehicle. The set consists of the primary Thunderbird 2 aircraft, a removable central cargo pod, and a miniature Thunderbird 4 submarine. All legs are movable. The removable pod is fitted with a green plastic hinged ramp door. The miniature Thunderbird 4 submarine is made of yellow plastic with red painted details. The underside of the fuselage features embossed lettering: DINKY TOYS, THUNDERBIRD 2, 101, MADE IN ENGLAND, MECCANO LTD, MADE UNDER LICENSE FOR CENTURY 21 TOYS LTD.
