A pair of vintage Tonka friction-powered toy vehicles from the Scorchers series, commonly identified as the WTO-760 Moon Rover models, manufactured in Japan during the 1970s. Each vehicle features a red and white Tonka logo sticker on a yellow ground at the rear. The black plastic underside is embossed with Tonka in a stylised font, PAT. PEND., and MADE IN JAPAN. The sidewalls of the tires are printed with Tonka and W10-760. These models are equipped with an internal friction/inertia-powered motor mechanism.
