A vintage cased set of precision laboratory or apothecary weights. The collection comprises nine cylindrical brass knob weights of graduated sizes. The largest weight is marked 100, with others marked 20, 20, and 10. A central rectangular compartment contains a group of flat, thin fractional weights, with legible inscriptions including 500 mg, 200 mg, 100 mg, 50, 20, and 10. The set includes a pair of metal tweezers stored in a slot within the lid. The components are housed in a rectangular wooden box, possibly made of fruitwood or beech.
