Bidspirit auction | A pair of pewter presentation

A pair of pewter presentation tankards associated with Jack Bond, Captain of Lancashire County Cricket Club. The first tankard is engraved with the inscription: Presented by the BURNDEN SPORTING CLUB to JACK BOND Captain of LANCASHIRE C.C. for his inspiring Captaincy during the 1970 Season. The second tankard bears the inscription: PRESENTED TO JACK BOND ESQ Captain Lancashire C.C. By THE MEMBERS OF LITTLE HULTON C.C. ON THE OPENING BY HIM OF THE NEW PAVILION APRIL, 20TH. 1968. Both are cast pewter with engraved text.
