An Indian or Indo-Persian patinated metal bowl of squat globular form with a low shoulder and a wide circular aperture. The exterior surface is densely decorated with fine silver-inlaid foliate and floral scrolls, interspersed with bird motifs. Small orange-red highlights, possibly of copper or lacquer, are distributed throughout the pattern. Overall diameter: approximately 11 cm Interior aperture: approximately 7.5 cm.
