One of the disciples of the ”Ketav Sofer”. The son-in-law of Rabbi Aharon Yosef Shmuel Segal Av Beit Din of Trentshin. In 1857 was appointed Av Beit Din of Mahr. Authored the book SEfer Torat Bar Nash on the bible, Derashot of the Sages and Sugiyot HaShas. Many of his responses were printed in the Avnei Choshen Responsa (the Chatam Sofer and his disciples, p. 513). On the title page, the signature of Aharon Segal of Pressburg. On the last leaf, ownership inscriptions by Aharon Straah of Pressburg. 16 cm. Good-fair condition. Worming. Loose binding.
