Venice, 1523-1524. First edition. The first title page is with an architectural frame where the Hebrew year of printing was written, 5284 (1524). After the author's introduction and the indices, an additional leaf [8] a partial title page was printed, where the Hebrew year of printing that is noted in 5283 (1523). (The book was printed several times: in Venice in 1564; Basel 1580, 1581; Paris, 1581). Owner's Signatures in the book: A curly signature of Rabbi Eliyau Menashe Rabbi Chaim Eliyahu Menashe (died in 1808), immigrated to Jerusalem from Salonilka, on his tombstone it was engraved ”Zion it is no-one is interested in it as a scholar Chassid and modest, grief-stricken, as Rabbi Chaim Eliyahu the son of Yitzchak Menaseh…” (Hebrew). Inscriptions and signature ”I have bought this book from Rabbi Achai Gaon as our teacher Rabbi Yehoshua Navon Yosef Zvi so are the words of the young who trusts in Aryeh Shlomo Yosef Aryeh”. An inscription and nice curly signature ”Has been given to me as gift by Rabbi … Yosef David Abulafia may God protect him the young Binyamin Chamawi S.T.” on leaf [15], a gloss handwritten by him. Rabbi Binyamin Chamawi (1844-1925) author of the books Amtachat Binyamin Responsa (Jerusalem, 1877), Ein Yamin, Bnei Binyamin, LeBinyamin Amar. He was born in Jerusalem and was one of the leaders of the Ma'aravim community of Jerusalem. He was sent to Morocco as an emissary of the rabbis of Jerusalem before the year 1878 and then moved to Turkey, passing through Larisa, where he was accepted and served as a rabbi for two years. Then he returned to the Land of Israel and was against sent as an emissary in 1883. When he ended his mission, he remained in Belgrade as a rabbi. Two years later he returned to Jerusalem.
