Rabbi Meir Dan Plotzky (1866-1928), one of the leading rabbis of Poland during the early 20th century. A disciple of the author of ”Nefesh Chayah” in Kalisch, Rabbi Yisrael Yehoshua of Kutno and Rabbi Avraham Bornstein of Sochochov. In 1891, he started serving as the rabbi of Warta. Authored the series of books ”Kli Chemdah” on the Torah. The first section was published in 1906 and was immediately liked by the sharpest of sages of Poland.
