Manuscript – Torah with Translation, Rashi, Siftei Chachamim – Yemen, the 18th Century - Large manuscript, containing the books of Bereshit-Shemot, with vowelization and cantillation notes, vowelized Onkelos translation, Rashi's commentary, and Siftei Chachamim. Yemen, the 18th century. At the beginning of the manuscript, compilations from Machberet HaTijan on the rules of grammar, cantillation notes and vowelization. Throughout the manuscript, glosses from the time of writing, some of them possibly by the writer himself. The glosses refer to various commentaries from ancient books such as Rabbeinu Bechaye and to textual variations of the translations. Often, long glosses. Throughout the leaves, various illustrations and decorations. On the last leaf, an amulet with a handwritten illustration of lamentze'ach and a prayer for the reading of the Torah.
