Scroll of Esther on Parchment – Original Carved Wood – Italy, the 19th Century - Scroll of Esther, ink on parchment. Italy, the 19th century. Includes original wood with nice, black carvings, with serifs and serif decorations. 18 columns. 25 lines per column. Height of parchment: 27cm. Height of wood: 54cm. A dark blue silk cloth is attached to the first sheet. With laces for tying the scroll. The cloth and laces are apparently not original. Good overall condition. Thick quality parchment. The ink has blurred in several places.
