Hasui Kawase "Moonlit Night at Miyajima" Woodblock Print
Hasui Kawase (Japanese, 1883-1957). Japanese shin-hanga woodblock print titled "Moonlit Night at Miyajima" depicting lit lanterns in the evening with the "floating" torii gate at the Itsukushima Shrine in the background. Marked in the plate along the lower right with Kawase's seal. Printed by Wantanabe, red round 6mm seal to lower left. There is a Japanese inscription to the left margin.
