Chinese Yixing Pottery Vessel
Chinese Yixing cut corner footed ceramic pottery vase or planter. Decorated throughout with blue glaze and incised calligraphy along all sides. Marked with a cyclical date for 1880, 1940, and 2000.
Height: 7 in x width: 3 1/4 in x depth: 3 1/4 in.
Condition: The vessel is in good condition; no major chips, no visible cracks or losses. Along the interior, there are two minute chips towards the rim. No chips to the rim; there is a sticker residue along the rim, which is only visible under UV light. Under UV inspection, there is no sign of restoration. There is wear throughout, as expected from its age. Along the footrim, there is wear, consistent with its age and use. Please contact us for a detailed condition report.
