Group of three Ming or Yuan dynasty blue and white porcelain plates. Each decorated with floral and foliate motifs. One plate with a mark in underglaze blue.
Diameter ranges from 10 in to 12 1/4 in.
Condition: The plates are in fair condition with no major losses or chips. All items have original glazing and firing flaws and heavy wear throughout. The plate, lower right, has a line of chips to the rim, more noticeable from the underside. The plate, upper center, has a chip to the rim, measuring 1/4 inch; there are several cracks to the surface- the longest being 11 inches; cracks are visible from the underside as shown in the listing; there is a loss to the glaze to above the flower. The plate, captured lower left, has a crack that goes through 1/3 of the surface. None of the plates show a sign of restoration under UV light. Please contact us for a detailed condition report.
