David Charles Bierk, RCA (American/Canadian, 1944-2002). Photograph and oil mixed media work titled "Vermillion Lake, Reflection, " 1990.
Provenance: Bess Cutler Gallery, New York; Private Collection, Minnesota.
Known for his work in the postmodern genre, Bierk drew on inspiration ranging from American West Coast Pop to Photorealism. His solo shows included exhibitions at Artspace, Peterborough, the Art Group of Peterborough, and Museum London.
