Pair of Impressionist Gouache on Paper Paintings
Pair of Gouache on paper impressionist paintings depicting snowy city streets. Each signed along the lower left.
Each; sight: height: 6 in x width: 7 1/2 in. Framed; height: 11 1/2 in x width: 13 1/4 in.
Condition: Both paintings are in excellent condition with no visible tears, cracks, or creases. The surface is stable, and the color and bright and bold. None of them show signs of restoration under UV inspection. The painting with trees has a minute loss to the paint to the tip of one of the trees; there is a green accretion to the cloud, possibly original to the piece. The other painting with a wide road has some areas with crazing starting to form. Wear to the frames. Not inspected out of frame. Please contact us for a detailed condition report.
