Attributed Lou Shibai Scale Scroll Painting
Attributed Lou Shibai (Chinese, 1918-2012). Ink on scroll painting depicting a rodent on a set of scales. Commissioned by the National Bureau of Measurement. With a red seal along the upper left of the painting.
(Huaxin) height: 25 1/2 in x width: 17 in. (Scroll) height: 60 in x width: 20 in.
Condition: The colors are bold and deep. The painting is slightly toned. The scroll has an undulation to it natural to being rolled. Minute wear to the silk. Light wear to the wooden handles.
