Hodo Nishimura ”Red Parrot & Magnolia” Woodblock - Hodo Nishimura (Japanese, act. 1930s). Woodblock print titled ”Mokuren to Beni-Omu (Red Parrot and Magnolia, ” published by Takemura Hideo, 1937. Pencil signed along the lower left margin; titled along the lower right margin. Height: 15 1/2 in x width: 10 1/2 in. Condition: The colors are bold and bright. The sheet is very lightly toned. There are no major losses or signs of restoration. There is a minute tear along the lower left. Some wear including handling marks and small creases along the extreme edges. The work is not framed.
