Paul Cadmus Female Nude Sketches - Paul Cadmus (American, 1904-1999). Crayon on paper sketch drawing depicting three female nudes. Signed along the lower right. With an additional figural drawing along the verso. Provenance: Estate of Paul Cadmus; The collection of Jon Anderson; Private Minnesota collection. Height: 10 1/4 in x width: 19 in. Condition: There are no major tears, losses, or restorations. Light wear along the deckled edges including some handling marks, faint creases along the left and right edges particularly, and frits, mainly along upper and lower edges. There is a small darkened scuff along the upper left edge that is possibly graphite transfer original to the artistic process. The work is not framed.
