Group of 2 Nautical Watercolor Folk Paintings - Group of two naval folk art watercolor paintings depicting ships. One steam and paddle ship with a lighthouse and the other depicting a sailboat with another smaller ship titled ”Nantucket Shoals 65” in an oceanic landscape with a pale pink sky. Each are unsigned. (Smaller) Sight; height: 8 in x width: 11 3/4 in. Framed; height: 10 3/4 in x width: 14 1/2 in x depth: 3/4 in. (Larger) Sight; height: 11 1/2 in x width: 17 3/4 in. Framed; height: 14 1/2 in x width: 20 1/2 in x depth: 1 in. Condition: The colors are bold; however, the colors are toned. There are no major visible tears or losses. Slight undulation to both sheets. Light soiling to each, particularly along the margins of the smaller work. Wear to the frames including chips and wear to the gilt consistent with age. Not inspected out of frame.
