17 LRK & Celebrity Photographs Incl. James Beard - Group of 17 gelatin silver print photographs including three depicting Lynne Rossetto Kasper with various celebrities and iconic chefs, ca. 1970s. Includes three photographs with James Beard, two of which also with Beard, Clay Triplett, and Felipe Rojas-Lombardi, photographed at the Abraham & Straus (A&S) department store in New York City, where Lynne Rossetto Kasper taught cooking classes, 1971. Additional individuals depicted in the photographs include Jacques Pepin, Rudolph ”The Omelet King” Stanish, Duffy Dyer of the New York Mets, Virginia Lee, John Clancy, Jean Hewitt, and acclaimed French restauranteur Andre Soltner. Condition: There are no major tears, losses, or restorations to the photos. Some toning throughout, commensurate with age. Some wear along the extreme edges. Several of the photos with inscriptions along the verso. The photograph of Lynne Rossetto Kasper with James Beard, Clay Triplett, and Felipe Rojas-Lombardi is mounted to a matboard with scotch tape affixed to the verso of the photograph. Verso of this photograph not inspected. The works are not framed.
