4 Cousances Le Creuset Enameled Cast Iron Pans - Cousances, France. Group of four enameled cast-iron cookware vessels. Cousances was acquired by Le Creuset in 1957. Including: One 10” lidded ”flame orange” skillet with alpine wood handle. Impressed ”Cousance” and ”France” along the underside; numbered 24. One 10” spouted ”soleil yellow” saute pan or skillet. Impressed ”Cousances” and ”Made in France” along the underside; numbered 23. One small 6 1/2” spouted ”soleil yellow” saucepan or pot. Impressed ”Cousances” and ”Made in France” along the underside; numbered 16. One small 6 1/2” lidded ”soleil yellow” skillet. Impressed ”Cousances” and ”Made in France” along the underside; numbered 16. Provenance: From the Collection of Lynne Rossetto Kasper. Height ranges from 2 in to 5 1/2 in; width ranges from 9 3/4 in to 19 1/2 in; depth ranges from 6 1/2 in to 10 1/4 in. Condition: Wear to all including some small chips to enamel, wear to the interior of the cast iron, and wear from general use. No major losses or breaks to most. The large wood-handled skillet with some breaks and losses to the enamel to the underside.
