4 Wedgwood Pottery Ale Jugs & 1 Saucer - Wedgwood for Woollard & Co., England. Group of four ceramic rosso antico pottery ale jugs or pitchers and one saucer, mid-19th to early 20th century. Two of the four pitchers are from Wedgwood's ”Cambridge” line of terracotta pottery, each bearing an enameled crest or coat-of-arms denoting various houses, colleges, and schools within Cambridge. The third pitcher is a Jasperware cobalt blue vessel and the fourth pitcher is terracotta with an enameled Greek key motif, matching the saucer plate in this lot. Each impressed or stamped ”Wedgwood” along the underside. Provenance: From the Collection of Lynne Rossetto Kasper. Height ranges from 5 1/2 in to 8 in; width ranges from 5 in to 9 in; depth ranges from 4 1/2 in to 5 in. Condition: No significant breaks. Scuffs, light scratches, and wear consistent with use.
