19th c. Wedgwood Caneware Pie Dish - Wedgwood, England. 19th century caneware pie dish or casserole with cover. The side decorated with grape vines and the lid knop or finial in the form of a cabbage. Impressed mark along the underside. Provenance: From the Collection of Lynne Rossetto Kasper. Height: 7 1/2 in x width: 9 1/2 in x depth: 7 in. Condition: There are no major losses along the exterior. There are chips and small losses along the interior rim of the body of the vessel, where it is covered by the lid. There is a hairline crack running from the finial to the edge of the lid. Some dust and debris gathered along the interior. Light wear along the footrim.
