5 Handmade Italian Ceramic Plates and Platters - Group of five handmade Italian ceramic plates and platters, 20th century. Includes two small Deruta Pottery majolica plates or saucers, two Rale Pottery dinner plates, and a large Leona Ceramics serving platter or plate. Each marked along the underside as follows: the two small plates painted ”Deruta, ” the two dinner plates incised ”Rale”, and the largest plate with a label reading ”Lavorato a Mano.” Provenance: From the Collection of Lynne Rossetto Kasper. Height ranges from 3/4 in to 3 1/4 in; diameter ranges from 6 in to 10 in. Condition: There are no major losses or restorations. Crazing and some chips to the glaze. One large crack/repair to one of the small plates. Light wear to the footrims.
