5 Antique Earthenware Ceramic Vessels & Lids - Group of five antique earthenware ceramic vessels and lids. This lot includes two lids, one tripod plate or shallow bowl with burnished interior, a large lidded Spanish dutch oven or casserole, and a terracotta Tuscan chicken brick. To use the Tuscan chicken brick, Rossetto Kasper recommends placing pieces of poultry or a whole butterflied chicken into a heavy skillet, followed by the press, resulting in a wonderfully crisp and juicy supper. Provenance: From the Collection of Lynne Rossetto Kasper. Height ranges from 1 3/4 in to 9 in; diameter ranges from 4 in to 13 in. Condition: Wear throughout including some cracks, chips, and scuffs. There is a large crack to the body of the Spanish casserole dish. Some wear to the footrims.
