2 Homer Green Snake Folk Art Sculptures - Homer Green (American, 1910-2002). Group of 2 polychrome wooden folk art or Outsider art sculptures of snakes in red and yellow. (Small) Length: 11 1/2 in x width: 1 1/2 in x depth: 1/2 in. (Large) Length: 14 1/2 in x width: 1 1/4 in x depth: 1 in. Condition: Due to the nature of the work, it is difficult to discern whether the snakes have been compromised. However, there are no major losses to one snake; the second snake possibly lacking eyes. To the snake with eyes, there is a chip to the tail and some wear to the pigment throughout. To the snake without eyes, there are some narrow splits forming in the wood; there is also a possible loss to the tail.
