Japanese Meiji Covered Bronze Censer - Large Japanese Meiji era covered bronze censer. Of square form with applied dragon form handles and a knop in the form of a foo dog or mythical beast. Relief designs throughout of mythical beasts, scrollwork, and geometric designs. Height: 13 in x width: 14 in x depth: 9 in. Weight: 14 lbs 5 oz. Condition: There are no major dents. Some light scuffs throughout. Heavy wear verdigris patination to the interior and underside; there is one small hole to the underside.
