11 Style Fujiwara Yu Ceramic Sake Cups & Bottles - Style of Fujiwara Yu (Japanese, 1932-2001). Set of six studio ceramic Bizen ware sake or guinomi cups and five sake bottles, 20th century. Several with incised ”V” form marks along the footrim; some with varyingly shaped incised marks, possibly by other Fujiwara family members. With wooden tomobako boxes. (Cups) height ranges from 1 1/2 in to 2 inches; diameter ranges from 2 in to 2 1/4 in. (Bottles) height ranges from 4 in to 4 1/2 in; diameter ranges from 2 1/2 in to 3 in. (Box) height: 4 1/2 in x width: 9 1/2 in x depth: 20 1/2 in. Condition: Several with minute fleabite chips along the rims. One bottle with a chip to the rim. There are small firing flaws along several of the pieces. Light wear consistent with age and use throughout including minute scuffs and light wear to the footrims. Wear to the box consistent with age and use including separation to the joints, light scuffs, and some worm holes.
