19th c. Japanese Carved Goat Netsuke - 19th c. Japanese carved wooden netsuke in the form of a goat with inlaid black eyes. He raises his head while looking back and raises his leg upwards, as if startling. Provenance: Purchased from The Crane Gallery, Inc., July 25, 1980. Height: 1 1/2 in x width: 1 3/4 in x depth: 1 in. Condition: There are no chips, breaks, or losses.
