Ohara Koson Sparrows in Flight Woodblock - Ohara Koson (Japanese, 1877-1945). Woodblock print on paper depicting five sparrows in flight. Signature along the lower left. Provenance: From the Collection of Ellen and Frederick Wells. Height: 14 in x width: 7 1/2 in. Condition: The color are bold and bright. It appears that the right and lower edges have been trimmed. To the verso, there is a small penciled inscription along the lower edge and two residual pieces of framer's tape affixed to the upper edge of the verso. The work is not framed.
