Hiroshige ”Fireworks at Ryogoku Bridge” Woodblock - Utagawa Hiroshige (Japanese, 1797-1858). Woodblock print on paper titled ”Ryogokubashi hanabi no zu (Fireworks at Ryogoku Bridge), ” from the series ”Toto meisho (Famous Places in the Eastern Capital), ” ca. 1835-38. Height: 9 1/2 in x width: 14 1/2 in. Condition: The sheet is toned. Soiling throughout. Losses and wear, mainly along the upper corners. There is a large patch and repair to the upper right and left corners. The work is laid down onto another sheet. The work is not framed.
