Kasamatsu Shiro ”Tea Ceremony” Woodblock 1932 - Kasamatsu Shiro (Japanese, 1898-1991). Woodblock print titled ”Tea Ceremony in Early Spring, ” 1932. Depicting a a seated woman dressed in a kimono performing a tea ceremony. Seal along the lower left and published by Watanabe Shozaburo. Height: 15 1/4 in x width: 10 1/4 in. Condition: The colors are bold and bright. The sheet is toned. There are no tears. Some wear along the extreme upper and left edges. Light soiling to the verso including penciled inscriptions. Light skimming along the upper edge of the verso. The work is not framed.
