Kunisada Samurai with Courtesans Diptych Print - Utagawa Kunisada/Toyokuni III (Japanese, 1786-1865). Woodblock prints on paper depicting a samurai surrounded by courtesans. Two prints from a triptych, lacking the leftmost print which would have depicted a woman painting calligraphy on a screen. Each, height: 14 3/8 in x width: 9 7/8 in. Condition: The sheets are possibly trimmed and toned. Light soiling and minute losses. Residual paper affixed to the verso. The works are not framed.
