Native American Hide & Cottonwood Mask - Native American cottonwood and hide mask. With polychrome blue, red, black, and white decoration. Applied horn and dyed red horsehair to the apex of the mask. Possibly Hopi or Pueblo. Height: 11 in x width: 13 1/4 in x depth: 13 in. Condition: Heavy wear throughout. There are losses where the hide is stitched together, as well as losses to the pigment. All attached elements are loose. The feather is broken.
