Dine Navajo Wool Ganado Rug Textile 5'5”x3'4” - Dine (Navajo) Native American wool ”Ganado” rug, early 20th century. The carpet with central field depicting diamond motifs and stepped hourglass forms, flanked by a serrated triangular sawtooth pattern along either side. Executed in red, brown and cream. Length: 5 ft 5 in x width: 3 ft 4 in. Condition: The colors are bold and deep. Some bleeding to the colors. Light wear throughout consistent with age and use. No odors. Wear including some areas where the stitching is loose along the extreme edges, particularly along two of the corners.
