Dine Navajo Wool Ganado Rug Textile 4'7”x3'1” - Dine (Navajo) Native American wool Ganado rug, early 20th century. The carpet with central field depicting layered serrated diamond forms, flanked by a band of triangular sawtooth motifs along either side. Executed in red, browns, and cream. Length: 4 ft 7 in x width: 3 ft 1 in. Condition: The colors are bold and deep. Evidence of moth grazing throughout including holes and threadbare areas, especially along the central medallions. Wear and losses to all four corners. Some soiling throughout. There are areas along the extreme edges where the selvedge or stitching has come loose. No odors.
