Dine Navajo Wool Transitional Textile 2'7”x2'3” - Dine (Navajo) Native American wool Transitional Period style saddle blanket or rug, 20th century. The textile with central field of concentric serrated diamonds on cream ground surrounded by a navy blue border of stepped geometric motifs. Executed in red, orange, and brown. Length: 2 ft 7 in x width: 2 ft 3 in. Condition: The colors are bold and bright. Areas throughout where the threads have poked out of the weave. Some soiling or staining throughout. No odors.
